Developed for Imaginary Architects in their consideration of consultants.

Sample Proposal - The Essential Details

As discussed, we will be proposing our MEP Engineering services for this project. The sample proposal document may be accessed via the buttoned link below. It’s got a digital signature/countersignature (a la docusign), as well as a commenting feature for tracking our contract-specific discussions. I’ll leave it to you to distribute this to any necessary parties on your end. And of course, please let us know if you have any questions at all.

Building The Right Team

Positive Energy’s mission is to engage with the AEC industry in innovative ways, to skillfully provide building science knowledge in order to improve and transform the way buildings are created, to improve the lives of our employees, and foster meaningful relationships with our project partners. We are an inclusive organization, dedicated to out-of-the-box thinking, innovation, and holding ourselves accountable to one another, as well as to the future of the planet we are a part of. Our firm is built on and practices a culture of kindness, which means we care for each other, we care for our clients, and we engage in deep listening and careful reflection in our responses to others. When people are in touch with a sense of care for themselves and the world around them, creativity and kindness naturally exude in their interactions. To read more about our unique and diverse team, our firm profile may be found via the link below.

Finding Reference Points

Positive Energy has a proud history of meaningful collaborations with owners representatives, architecture teams, builders, and trades. We have been fortunate to design and consult on projects across the US and abroad that leave a lasting architectural legacy, all while reducing the building’s impact on resources and increasing occupant health, comfort and well-being. In response to your team’s request for applicable experience and criterion, this page features a small curated subset of the award winning projects for which we have been a collaborating team member. Of course, many of our project collaborations exist within conditions of extreme privacy and are not photographed, featured in publications, nor submitted for awards. We value privacy and are sensitive to each project’s privacy needs. If you have any questions for or about any of the teams we work with, we are happy to discuss and/or provide connections to those found on our Friends & Partners list at your request.

Sampling Our Work

We are very proud of our MEP engineering sets and are pleased to share these anonymized design samples from previous projects for your review. You’ll find both PDF samples to review, as well as a fully functional Revit model viewer. We link this model to a QR code, printed on on our construction documents so that the relevant trades to have as much rich information as possible. Clarity in design intent is so important and we make it a practice to innovate, adapt, and improve how we communicate. Please note that even though we have anonymized all project information, we kindly request that you keep these resources for the project team’s eyes only.
