Scott Witt, AIA, CPHC

Electrical Systems Consultant & Designer

Scott Witt, a dynamic Enclosure and Building Performance Consultant, is all about doing the right thing, with the right people, for all the right reasons. As an AIA and CPHC credentialed professional, he brings a wealth of knowledge to every project he touches.

Joining the Positive Energy team in August 2016, Scott holds a Master of Architecture degree and is a master of various professional software, including Revit, WUFI Passive, Therm, and Climate Studio. His passion for better buildings, passive house principles, and sustainability is rooted in his belief that anything less would be a squandered opportunity.

Scott's positive impact on projects at Positive Energy is unmistakable. With a focus on fundamental building science, meticulous details, and thoughtful architecture, he ensures that every project reaches its full potential. He thrives on the challenge of solving unique and ever changing situations, making each project a thrilling endeavor.

Among his colleagues at Positive Energy, Scott finds a community of learners and enthusiasts. Their curiosity and drive to constantly learn inspire him as they delve into all aspects of building science.

One of Scott's proudest achievements lies in providing the essential nuts and bolts of construction details to the design team. When he's not shaping the future of building performance, you'll find him gardening, traveling, cheering on Austin FC, or engaging in kid soccer matches.

Scott's literary favorite, "A Star Thrower" by Loren Eisley, reflects his profound appreciation for meaningful narratives. His go-to quote, "All right, every day ain't going to be the best day of your life, don't worry about that. If you stick to it, you hold the possibility open that you will have better days," by Wendell Berry, speaks volumes about his resilient optimism.

Amidst all his achievements, an unusual fact stands out: Scott swims in Keuka Lake on his birthday and boasts the impressive ability to be ambidextrous. Scott Witt is not just a consultant; he's a catalyst for innovative building solutions and a driving force at Positive Energy.
