The Big Idea

Theresa Passive House demonstrates that rigorous building performance and expressive residential design can strengthen one another. Positive Energy’s MEP engineering and energy modeling pair a robust thermal envelope with carefully sized heat-pump systems, balanced ventilation, strong filtration, and on-site solar to create a home that is healthy, quiet, resilient, and exceptionally efficient.

Close coordination allows this sophisticated performance to feel simple in daily life. Systems and controls are integrated into Forge Craft’s architecture and calm interiors so the technical work recedes, leaving comfortable rooms, beautiful light, and confidence that the home is prepared to serve its occupants well through Texas heat, smoke events, and changing seasons.

Photography

Great residential MEP work for world-class architecture is rarely seen because all of our coordination disappears behind walls and into refined details—and it simply works as intended. The photographers who capture the spirit of these homes so brilliantly remind us that what we create is beautiful because it is the sum of many parts forming a whole.
