The Big Idea
River Ranch grows from the Hill Country landscape through its elemental forms and substantial rammed-earth walls. Positive Energy’s MEP engineering complements that grounded architecture with efficient systems, healthy ventilation and filtration, and reliable comfort designed for the demands of the Texas climate.
The home’s thermal mass and carefully considered envelope work in concert with responsive mechanical systems. Close coordination keeps the infrastructure visually quiet within Jobe Corral Architects’ restrained palette, creating rooms that feel calm, durable, and inseparable from the land around them.
Photography
Great residential MEP work for world-class architecture is rarely seen because all of our coordination disappears behind walls and into refined details—and it simply works as intended. The photographers who capture the spirit of these homes so brilliantly remind us that what we create is beautiful because it is the sum of many parts forming a whole.
