The Big Idea

Cloud's Rest is conceived as a gentle constellation of pavilions on a sloping Santa Lucia Preserve site, each one framing a distinct relationship to light, landscape, and distant views. Positive Energy's MEP engineering advances the clients' low-carbon ambitions through all-electric systems and regenerative strategies for energy, heating, and water. The systems are designed to support resilient comfort while remaining quietly integrated within Feldman Architecture's crafted stone, teak, and exposed structure—technology serving a home that feels rooted, calm, and inseparable from its setting.

Great residential MEP work for world-class architecture is rarely seen because our coordination disappears behind walls and into refined details—it simply works as it should. The visual artists and designers who communicate the spirit of these homes so brilliantly remind us that what we create is beautiful because it is the sum of many parts becoming a whole.
